7th MOSCOW INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE “MIPS 2010 ”

This year conference will be dedicated to challenges and solutions for the comprehensive safety of unique, including underground, technically complex and potentially hazardous facilities, based on the example of Moscow.

The key events of the MIPS 2010 conference:

Expanded open session of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Moscow City Architecture and City Planning Committee:

• Discussion of the challenges and objectives for ensuring comprehensive safety of unique, technically complex and potentially hazardous facilities in Moscow. Specific safety measures and technical solutions

• Presentation of the competition projects. The best, as judged by a panel of experts, will receive recommendations for inclusion in the Moscow Territory Construction Directory and Moscow City Architecture and City Planning Committee Register

With participation of: Interdepartmental Committee on Security and Anti-Terrorist Protection of High-Rise Buildings in Moscow; Office for Coordination of Security Activities in Moscow; Moscow City Construction Department; Moscow Road and Bridge Construction Department; and Scientific and Technical Council of the Moscow City Architecture and City Planning Committee.

Fire safety roundtable:

• Implementation of the technical regulation on building safety, and its overlap with the technical regulation on fire safery requirments

• Similarities and differences for the proposed practical solutions to current regulations

With the participation of: Department for Supervisory Activities of the Emergency Control Ministry of the Russian Federation; State Fire Supervision Office of the Emergency Ministry RF for Moscow; State Expert Examinations; All-Russia Voluntary fire Society; Moscow City Expert Examinations; Emergency Control Ministry Expert Examinations; and other specialised agencies and deparments, and independant public organisations.

Invited to attend: product designers; chief project engineers; developers and manufacturers of security technology and devices; designers and integrators of security systems and subsystems of varying compexity; construction and design research institutes; engineers involved in ensuring the safety of business centres, stadiums, and other large buildings; and government bodies responsible for developing and implementing programmes and solutions to ensure the safety of unique, including underground, technically complex and potentially hazardous buildings and structures.

Please note that there is a registration fee for taking part in the conference. The fee includes: participation in the conference, with simultaneous translation provided, a participant's folder, inclusion of company information in the official conference catalogue, coffee breaks, a set of documents, and the MIPS 2010 conference and exhibition catalogue.
